Now it is time to start printing invites. We narrowed our choices to three.
First, A nice simple red card, with embroidery
Second, A semi-transparent card covering the invite, card in either ivory or red.
Third, Another semi-transparent card in either ivory or red.
The semi-transparent card may seem simple, but adding a simple Chinese button in the middle, it will look really exquisite. So I went in hunt for the Chinese buttons aka Chinese knots. I couldn’t find anything on the net, most were overseas manufactures, nothing locally. So I guess there is only one place that I need to go, 牛车水.
In the beginning, it was really tough. Two shops I asked, were not helpful and is unable to provide these buttons in two weeks. When I was about to give-up, I thought I’ll try my luck at a handicraft shop located at peoples park, Golden Dragon. As I didn't’ find much information on their webpage, I wasn’t hopeful. Surprise surprise, I can’t believe my luck, I found my perfect Chinese button, and they even have the quantity I need in a week time. This button is simple yet elegant. Some were too much, others were just too plain or even ugly. I simply like it simple and traditional.
This is it! Now we’ll have to figure out what to print and we are ready to start distributing our red bombs!

Usually ur hotel will give u a template to print for the cards.. i got mine from my hotel and we edited from there.. printed the cards 1 month ago and just sent them out recently haha.. didnt want to do everything last min.I set my RSVP 2 weeks before the wedding, so tat i can call up to confirm if they never reply back to me..
Love ur pics..very olden classic look..enjoy the last 2 months of planning..we shld all meet up for xmas haha..
