Food Tasting

We had our food tasting yesterday. It was really good, the food was marvelous, the decor was beautiful and the best of all, we had a big private room all to ourselves.


Here’s what we ordered.

Appetizer

Soup
Double Boiled Sea Whelk with Chicken and Chinese Herb

Abalone
Sliced Abalone with Shiitake Mushrooms and Hong Kong Seasonal Vegetables


Seafood
Sauteed Fresh Scallops with Snow Pea, Lotus Root and Chinese Celery with Spicy Sauce;
Deep-Fried Crabmeat Balls coated with Almond Flakes

Fish
Steamed Star Garoupa "Hong Kong" Style


Meat
Li Bai's Herbal Emperor Chicken


Vegetables
Stewed Hong Kong Seasonal Vegetables with Dried Scallops


Noodles/Rice
Fish Noodles with Prawns 'Japanese Style'


Dessert
Baked Alaska Desert

Not all of these dishes we tried will be our wedding dishes. Some we merely wanted to try, others we had tasted at the wedding show. But I’m really glad the food were superb, I’m truly confident that my guests will enjoy the food as much as we did.
