I often joke about going to Paris, always seem like a girl’s dream. So far away, at such an impossible price.
Since he has been to France, I often asked when will he take me there? He would always laugh it off, try to change the subject or just simply play dumb.
Up until now, I still can’t believe we have actually done it. We are going to Paris! We have booked our honeymoon trip yesterday. For months, we made lots of enquires, check out several travel deals, numerous phone calls and finally it was just a casual walk-in that we made our final decision.

It seems so strange how we ended up at this travel agency. We were around the vicinity for lunch and to collect our complimentary LCD TV. After our sumptuous tim sum lunch, we spotted this travel agent around the corner, we casually stroll-in and asked for their Europe and US travel rates.
In order to maximise our time, we intend to travel right after the following day of our wedding, which is 17 October 2009, not forgetting to leave some time to tidy-up the necessary. Many travel packages either start on Friday which is our wedding day, or later that week on Wednesday or Thursday.
We were surprise when this travel agent informed us that there is a package to Europe leaving on 17 Oct. The flight is at 2am of 18 Oct, which will give us ample time to settle down after the wedding.
The date’s perfect, the destination’s great and since it was just after Natas fair, there were further discounts and even a complimentary trip to Dubai.
Still, we were doubtful. We took the materials, did a thorough research, make more enquires on other travel deals. Our findings revealed most travel agents has yet to release October deals, many do not have any package leaving on 17 Oct, some were costly, some we didn’t like the airline, etc. We immediately felt this travel package had to be the ONE!
Finally finally, one decision after another, our Honeymoon ought to be the final one. Thereafter, our family would most likely be the ones making decision for other details of the wedding.
