Just paid a $300 deposit for a photographer for our actual day. I did some surfing and manage to find this guy, highly recommended by many and had accumulated quite a handful of good praises for few years.
We spoke to him a few times and waited only now to pay the deposit because we couldn’t firm up our decision on the venue. We would like to be absolutely certain on our date before we pay the deposit. However, yesterday he told us there was someone else enquiring the same date as ours, so we decide to pay the deposit to “choup” him for that day first. What can I say, welcome to the “kia su” community.

From what I read in the forum, he is not only professional and skilful; he is also known to be committed, patient and flexible. Check-out his work.I strongly believe a good photographer is very important. Not only he can capture beautiful and memorable moments of your wedding, with his experience, he is also able to give good tips and useful information for weddings.
In contrast, a wedding can be a disaster where I read a photographer “MIA” on a wedding. Can you imagine how frustrating that can be? Despite numerous telephone calls to the photographer, no answer, no returned call. The photographer who couldn't make it should be at least find a replacement since they definitely know those in the same trade. This is very unprofessional and unethical. There was another wedding I read, where the bride and groom had a big fight with the photographer, can’t remember the reason but that would definitely ruin your big day.
